Hypothalamus, its the part that maintains homeostasis.What part of the brain plays a central role in control of body temperature, hunger, thirst, and emotions?
Limbic system
The hypothalamus controls the pituitary gland thus mediating the nervous and endocrine systems.

the mid-brain
Emotion (I think) is mostly temporal lobes, oxygenation/bloodflow, and neurochemicals; I'm not sure about the rest.
