If birth control pills are stored at a higher temperature than suggested, will they stop working?

I live in an apartment with no air conditioning, and its been very hot over the past two weeks, about 90, and its been awfully hot in my apt. I was just wondering today if my birth control pills (which say to store at room temperature) could no longer be affective after being stored between 80 and 90 degrees for so long. I've looked for an answer on google but couldn't find anything, so I'm hoping that someone here knows.

Thank you!If birth control pills are stored at a higher temperature than suggested, will they stop working?
They won't stop working, but they may not be as effective.

find a cooler spot for them
