How does the kidney control body temperature?

I would say that it has to do with water balance, as well as renin (an enzyme) and EPO (a hormone) production. The kidneys produce both of these, and they both increase blood volume.

Blood temperature is slightly higher than normal body temperature. As blood circulates throughout the body, it helps play a role in maintaining normal body temperature. So basically, through blood volume and water balance, the kidneys can help to regulate overall body temperature. How does the kidney control body temperature?
I do not know and never thought of that one so will see if I can find the answer.

I did not know that is what the kidney does. How does the kidney control body temperature?
it doesnt..not really at least. perhaps indirectely.

the kidney controls osmoregularity (the amount of water in the blood vessels)
Ok when you get cold the blood flow shifts from the arms and legs into the torso. Ask yourself where does that blood go?

The internal organs. Of the internal organs which one recieves the most blood, well other than the hear and lungs.

The kidneys.
